THE ROOTS OF LA SERENELLA
Contrary to what you might think, Serenella is not the name of a grandmother or ancestor who had the idea to start this business, but it still has deep roots. In the literal sense of the word! In fact, the name of our hotel comes from the Serenella flower, also known as lilac, which grew in the family garden back in 1953, our founding year. The delicacy and tenacity of this plant inspired Angelina and Giovanni, the first owners, to name their hotel in Moena after it. The story, on closer inspection, is still a family story, because Angelina and Giovanni are our parents and grandparents, and their authenticity, friendliness and passion can still be felt within the walls of La Serenella Hotel.

The Val di Fassa, in Trentino, is a land capable of giving intense emotions every day and the La Serenella Hotel, located near the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park and surrounded by the Dolomites (UNESCO heritage site), has chosen to protect it by becoming an Eco Hotel. Our commitment to the environment is evidenced by the European Ecolabel recognition, of which we are proud. We are an Eco Hotel because:
